About The WoolShed

The main building is a beautiful historic Woolshed that has been relocated from Uri Park, Darlington Point in outback NSW and lovingly restored to its former glory.

Tables can be booked through the link above, or over the Phone. To Reserve a Table for Lunch or Dinner or to place your Mid-Round Take-Away Orders on a Friday or Saturday, Please call us on  02 4465 0200.

Pikes 'Eastside' Shiraz, Clare Valley, SA

The medium palate weight and silky texture profile are hallmark ‘Eastside’. Black cherry and blueberry fruit point to the wine’s delicious acid structure, whilst hints of aniseed and lightly charred oak provide interest. The long lasting yet soft tannin profile is accompanied perfectly by the bright fruit core to create a balanced finish.

On the palate the wines show upfront dark berry flavours of raspberry and blueberries with dark syrup blackberry. The tannins are refined and silky with subtle oak notes that carry the berry flavours to give a long-lasting finish.

Gemtree 'Cinnabar' GSM, McLaren Vale, SA

Being a blend of three varieties, our GSM has lovely and varied aromas and flavours to delve into. Notes of dark olive, plum, red spice and hints of rosemary fill the glass. The wine is delightfully vibrant with flavours of cherry, plum and dried herb. Cinnabar is a beautifully balanced, medium bodied wine with elegant structure and chalky tannins.

Had a really good time here with my wife, my brother and sister in-law. I wish we stayed more than one night. The food from the onsite restaurant was also very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful, plenty of Kangaroos, Wombats and native birds.
